El Mac is an artistic historian in his own right, capturing the influence of his culture within his works of art. Born in Los Angeles, the influence of El Mac's Mexican and Chicano culture is written all throughout his creations. The use of both bright and dark colors gives him the ability to capture the true essence of the individual he is portraying. By incorporating additional methods such as acrylics and brush on canvas, he masterfully delves into his preferred technique of black and white photorealism to convey the human subject he is studying.

My full name is Chelsea De La Rosa. I'm studying Studio Art and Creative Writing. I've mostly only lived in towns that start with the letter P, like Princeton, Plano, and Paris. I don't know why. It's weird. I love taking photos, but can be shy when posing for them. That's the reason I'm absent for most of my family portraits. Some of my cousins don't believe I exist because I'm not in any photos. I love gardening and books, and I am a writer.
